General Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. Preamble

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) govern all contractual relationships between Orient & Vous Librairie Islamique, whose legal information is as follows:

These GTCS are available at any time on the website www.orientetvous.com.

2. Products and Prices

The products offered for sale on our website are described and presented with the greatest possible accuracy.

Prices: All prices are indicated in euros (€) and include all taxes (TTC). Shipping fees are excluded and will be indicated at the time of order validation.
Promotions and Discounts: Promotions or discounts are valid while stocks last and during their validity period.
Product Availability: In case of unavailability after order validation, we will inform you by email and proceed either with a refund or a replacement proposal.

3. Orders

Orders are placed exclusively online via our website www.orientetvous.com.

Confirmation: An order confirmation is sent by email after payment validation.
Archiving: In accordance with Article L213-1 of the Consumer Code, we keep an electronic copy of orders for 10 years. You may request a copy of your order by contacting us via email.
Order Refusal: Orient & Vous reserves the right to cancel an order in the following cases:

  • Existing dispute with the customer.

  • Non-payment of the order.

  • Incorrect information provided by the customer.

4. Payment

Payments can be made via the following methods:

  • Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express).

  • PayPal.

  • Bank transfer.

All online payments are secured using SSL encryption technologies, ensuring the confidentiality of transmitted data.

5. Delivery

5.1. National Delivery

  • Shipping Time: Orders are prepared and shipped within 3 to 5 business days after payment validation.

  • Incorrect Delivery Address: If the address provided by the customer is incorrect or incomplete, any additional costs for reshipment will be borne by the customer.

  • Customer Responsibility After Delivery: Once the package is delivered to the indicated address, the responsibility for the goods lies with the customer. Orient & Vous cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage occurring after delivery.

5.2. International Delivery

  • Delivery Area: Orient & Vous delivers internationally, except where otherwise stated for specific countries.

  • Delivery Time: Delivery times vary depending on the destination and the chosen shipping method. Estimated times will be indicated at order validation.

  • Customs Fees: For deliveries outside the European Union, customs fees or local taxes may apply and are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Responsibility: Orient & Vous cannot be held responsible for delays or blockages related to customs procedures.

5.3. Force Majeure

Orient & Vous cannot be held responsible for delivery delays or impossibilities due to force majeure events such as natural disasters, strikes, armed conflicts, or any other unforeseen event beyond our control.

6. Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-18 of the Consumer Code, the customer has a period of 14 calendar days to exercise their right of withdrawal from the date of order receipt.

Exceptions: Digital products downloaded immediately after purchase are not eligible for withdrawal, in accordance with Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code.
Withdrawal Form: A withdrawal form is available upon request to facilitate the process.
Conditions:

  • Products must be returned in their original condition, unused, and in their original packaging.

  • Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the product is defective or there is an error on our part (Article L221-23).

7. Returns and Refunds

  • Procedure: Returns must be reported in advance to info@orientetvous.com. Once the return is validated, you will receive the necessary instructions.

  • Refund: Refunds will be processed within 14 days following the receipt and verification of the returned products.

8. Legal Guarantees

Our products benefit from:

  • The legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L217-4 to L217-14 of the Consumer Code).

  • The legal guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the Civil Code).

In case of issues with a product, contact us to benefit from these guarantees.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the website www.orientetvous.com (texts, images, videos, logos, etc.) is protected by current intellectual property laws.

Any reproduction, representation, modification, or distribution of content without prior written authorization is strictly prohibited.
Orient & Vous reserves the right to take legal action in case of violation of these rights.
